General Election: November 5, 2024. The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization. The League of Women Voters does not support or oppose any political party or candidate. For over 100 years, the League’s mission has been to support active and informed citizen participation in government. The League believes that voting is a vital part of Making Democracy Work. The League of Women Voters of Houston publishes the Voters Guide to help each voter cast an informed vote. This Voters Guide contains information about the voting process, the duties and responsibilities of the offices that are included in this election and candidates who will appear on the ballot in Harris County. No portion of this Voters Guide may be reproduced for use in political campaigns or advertising.
